Overcoming logistical challenges to bring gas and LNG to smaller markets

Over the last decade, there has been a large increase in the number of emerging markets now importing LNG going from 7 countries in 2010 to 17 in 2017. With the development of technologies such as floating storage and regasification units (FSRUs), LNG is now more flexible and can be supplied at a lower cost.

However, with new opportunities comes new challenges to overcome. To hear what new strategies gas players could adopt to thrive in the emerging environment, Gastech Insights spoke with Gastech Governing Body Member and Director – LNG & FLNG at KBR, Christopher Caswell.
