At Gastech 2018 in Barcelona, Lebanon’s Energy Minister, Cesar Abi Khalil, revealed that the Lebanese government will be making natural gas the primary source of energy in its power sector by 2030. With natural gas accounting for ‘effectively zero at present’ this is a huge step for the country and an exciting area for the global market to keep an eye on in 2019.
