In the European Commission’s low-carbon economy roadmap, it is suggested that by 2050 the EU should cut greenhouse gas emissions to 80% below 1990 levels. Which is why it is now imperative for energy players to advocate the role gas will play in driving Europe’s carbon emissions down.
