It has been projected that by 2020, North America will become energy self-sufficient and maintain its position as the world’s largest natural gas producing region; and as LNG grows seven times faster than pipeline gas trade, LNG may account for half of globally traded gas by 2035.

Once complete, Tellurian’s Driftwood LNG terminal will be able to export over 26 million tonnes of LNG per year to customers worldwide, truly revolutionising the industry. Talking to Gastech Insights, Tellurian’s SVP LNG Marketing and Trading, Tarek Souki, shared his expert views on the indsutry:

  1. With the global energy dynamics changing and natural gas growing faster than both oil and coal; what are the impacts for trading?
  2. Considering today’s market, what would you say is the most attractive natural gas pricing index?
  3. How will LNG contracts develop in the future?
  4. In the next 5 years, what direction would you like to see the global gas and LNG industry go?
  5. What are you most looking forward to at Gastech 2018?
